Mendelssohn Violin Concerto and Beethoven’s Eroica
Popular Taiwanese violinist Yu-Chien Benny Tseng makes a welcome return to Singapore to play the crown jewel of violin concertos, the Mendelssohn. Beethoven’s mighty Eroica Symphony forms the second half of this Romantic programme led by Canadian maestro Julian Kuerti, opening with Ligeti’s loving tribute to Romanian folk music.
